Rebecca Kauffman has extensive teaching experience from her 29 years teaching in the Pennsylvania Public School System, and from teaching in her private harp studio. Many of her harp students have been accepted in the PA Music Educators State Orchestra Festival and have pursued careers in either harp performance or music education. Rebecca teaches the Salzedo harp method which encourages strong tone production and aesthetic hand gestures. In addition, Rebecca’s extensive orchestral experience enables her to coach and nurture young orchestral harpists and more advanced students. She has coached several harp students with the Vermont Youth Orchestra since moving to Vermont in 2008.
